BRIGHT MINDS

We want you to be the first to hear about the new and exciting research coming out of your University. And who better to tell you about it than the researchers themselves! Throughout the year, you are invited to attend a series of short, online talks, across a range of research topics, from some of Sheffield’s most talented early career researchers.
HERITAGE CIRCLE LUNCH
Where: Firth Court, University of Sheffield | When: 7th November 2025
The Heritage Circle recognises the generous commitment of those wanting to leave a lasting legacy by making a gift in their Will to the University of Sheffield.
This special event is our opportunity to say thank you for your continued support. There will be a behind-the-scenes look at the University’s latest developments from senior staff where, after lunch, you’ll hear about the exciting projects that are making an impact across the world in very different ways.

HOUSE OF LORDS ALUMNI RECEPTION
Where: The House of Lords, London | When: 26 April 2025
An evening of networking, drinks and canapés, where you will have the chance to meet our host The Rt Hon The Lord Blunkett and the University’s President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Koen Lamberts. The reception will take place in the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace overlooking the River Thames.
